Spokane, WA I got started with Beachbody in 2004 using Slim in 6. After 6 weeks, I was feeling great and lost 2 sizes! I continued on to P90 and Master Series, experiencing greater muscle tone, flexibility, greater endurance, and overall feeling great!
As life would have it, I've had my ups and downs, but decided a year ago to get with it and take on "Coach" status. I feel that my experience I got started with Beachbody in 2004 using Slim in 6. After 6 weeks, I was feeling great and lost 2 sizes! I continued on to P90 and Master Series, experiencing greater muscle tone, flexibility, greater endurance, and overall feeling great!
As life would have it, I've had my ups and downs, but decided a year ago to get with it and take on "Coach" status. I feel that my experience with Beachbody will enable me to assist others in doing their best and achieve great results!

I started out with Slim-in-6 beginning on 4-29-04. Completely got through the program, but with not really much change at all on the scale (what's new? scales...grrr!)..however...my total inches lost were 4 inches! I figured I was building lean muscle instead. I exercise regularly so maybe my body needs something more challenging?? Though, BIU usually kicked my butt..Plenty of challenge there! I couldn't keep up with all the kicks! I modified the program to fit my needs, and still got great workouts. Since Beachbody has a variety of great workouts, I decided to order Power 90 for more weight training, and got it last week. Good 'ole Tony Horton does a great job of making the workout fun and challenging!
I started sampling 3-4 already, and really like it. I'm getting a lot better at my push-ups too!! And, as far as leg-work goes, I really like his routine. I think my biggest challenge now has to be sticking to eating sensibly (remember now, Tony says No Cheeseburgers breaks). With 4 kids at home and a guy who likes his meat and potatoes, it's been a little difficult. But, he understands my needs too. I have goals. And, as far as the exercise program goes....Bring it on! I'm in for the duration! Go Power 90!
Week 11: Time for a needed update! I'm doing pretty good with the Sculpt and Sweat 3-4 workouts. I can really feel a difference in my legwork now, I can get through the squats and lunges NO PROBLEMO! That took a while. Push-ups are coming along, though women's are easier for me. I'm debating on getting P90-X now. I really want to see some great results...I want to see what this body of mine is capable of! And..I want to see that gut shrink! Am also considering looking into the Zone Perfect eating plan. Update!! Finished Power-90! That really was a fast 90 days! My results are slow and steady, which is probably an alright thing. That just means that whatever I lose is LOST AND NEVER TO BE FOUND AGAIN!!. Beachbody doesn't do crash diets or quick exercise schemes, it gives you the tools and an awesome support board, to go for it and be your best! I can feel great changes in my arms, shoulders, abs, legs, have great endurance for workouts (good luck getting me down!). I am cruising on for another round of one of these wonderful Beachbody programs. Slim Series is next on my list OR will it be P90X?? Either way...I know I'll get a fantastic workout routine..steady results..and will be in better shape than I was before. 9/13/04! I began the Slim Series on Monday. I really enjoy the workouts so far, there's so much variety in this series..ITS GREAT! This will be an intense and fast 4 weeks, and I EXPECT ;) some great results! BRING IT ON DEBBIE! 1/26/05! update!: I made it through the Slim Series, and then had to take a break for surgery. I never dreamed I'd have to have a Hysterectomy (abdominally) at my age (42), but life is full of surprises, and my body was telling me something!(boy was it!). So, now it's January 2005, and I'm cleared by my doc to take on my next venture which right now includes P90 and Slim Series (for variety ;)), I'm also waiting for the "X" to arrive. I'm excited to get it and am hoping that my body can take it. I'll have to check over the Plyo portion..and take it slow, but I'm game. Will see what happens. I really need to update my pic too! 3-20-05: Today marks 1 year and 2 days that I've been with Beachbody..WOW! My weight has fluctuated here n'there, but mostly due my last surgery I experienced. I'm working on losing the extra..and have managed to lose 3 lbs in the last 3 weeks! A definite good sign! I'm getting ready to start Kathy Smiths Perfect:You program, and plan to follow her Fast Start eating plan also. I'm going to take this one day at a time! Let's DO IT!
