I'm 28 years old, and I just got into Nursing school, so now I'm fulfilling one of my goals, to become a Nurse.
I love movies, music and the outdoors. My favorite hobby right now is horseback riding. I recently got my first bow, and plan on taking up archery.

I've pretty much struggled with my weight my whole life. I've never been known as the skinny one of the family, but the chubby one. I love food, and coming from a southern country family, we know how to cook good food. I want to be healthy, and learn how to eat right. I want to look good and feel good about myself too.

My weight has constantly been a challenge for me my whole life. I've always been known as the "chubby" one in my family. My childhood was a huge obstacle for me, having my mom always commenting or remarking about my weight. She continued to do so even into my adult life, and my self confidence has pretty much been non-existent.
After many years of my weight yo-yoing up and down I finally decided to get back on the scale. In July of 2011 I took my weight and was horrified to see that I was at my heaviest at 199. Almost 200 lbs! I was devastated, but my boyfriend was supportive of me and told me that everyone has to start from somewhere. So here I am now, at the beginning, and not sure what the future holds.
I have chosen to start with Turbo Jam, since I love the music and style of workouts. Hopefully after I have a couple of months under my belt I can move onto Chalean Extreme, or maybe Turbo Fire! My biggest challenge by far is going to be nutrition. Wish me luck!
