Artist, Mom of 2 girls. Distance runner. I started P90X in March 2010. I finished round one and am now in marathon training. I still use P90X on my cross training days.

When I first started P90X, my diet and activity lifestyles desperately needed an extreme makeover. P90X was what I needed to set myself back on the right track.

I never had a positive body image. I thought I needed to look like "the girls in the magazines" and "the hollywood image of perfection"... "thin is in".. OMG! What a load of pucky. I did my first round of P90X Lean, to lose weight, of course.. but that Tony snuck up and changed my world, LOL! In that 90 days, without even knowing I was doing it, I changed my whole way of thinking where health is concerned. I started learning about the actual physiology of exercise, and using food as fuel. I upped the quality of food I was eating, and started properly managing the protein/carb/fat/sugar ratios for the first time in my life.. Words cannot describe what this feels like. For the first time ever, I can eat and not feel sick. I can exercise, and actually enjoy it! That sounds like BS, I am fully aware, believe me. But God as my witness, it is true. I am 40, feeling the best I have ever felt. I started P90X March 2010. December 2010 I ran my first half marathon. Jan 2011 I start training for a full marathon, still doing the P90X for my cross training. P90X, Tony, and my friends on Team Beachbody were there with me every step of the way. This transformation has been the journey of a lifetime!
