Hi! I am 41 years old and a wife and mother of 2 girls. I have been battling "the bulge" since the birth of my first daughter in 1995. I have tried various methods of weight loss- low-carb diet, healthy weight loss supplements, and various exercise routines.
I am SO hoping that I can finally get into a lasting routine with Power 90 and Beach Body!!

I went to the doctor for a cholesterol check-up in July 2007 because my family has a history of high cholesterol. I have never had higher than 200(the amount NOT to be above) and 2 yrs ago checked More ...
I went to the doctor for a cholesterol check-up in July 2007 because my family has a history of high cholesterol. I have never had higher than 200(the amount NOT to be above) and 2 yrs ago checked out at 185. Unfortunately it was at 240 and my triglycerides and LDL were awful. My HDL was too low.

It was a wake up call that I need to reestablish a consistent workout routine and eat less cholesterol in my foods. I am basically a healthy eater, but need to watch out for cheese and sweets.

I also gained 25 lbs since my last check-up 2 yrs ago as well. I had been working out w/ Slim in 6 and did great with it, but went through some career changes and got out of my routine.

I have never had a weight problem until after being pregnant with both of my daughters. 25 yrs ago I used to be one of the fastest team members on my HS track and cross country teams and actually had slight "underweight" issues. I could eat anything and run it right off.

I tore my ACL in my knee 5 yrs ago playing on a women's soccer league team and had to have surgery. Running and soccer are really not going to work for me these days. The Beach Body workouts fit into my busy life and give me an excellent, well-rounded fitness routine.

Anyway, I am feeling better already after 3 wks doing Power 90. I feel more in control of my body and my eating habits. The work outs are challenging and easy to work into my schedule. I've lost 6 lbs so far. I just ordered the supplements, so haven't been taking them yet.
