Transformation story

I was never athletic as a kid; in fact I was the complete opposite. By the time I was eight years old I was struggling with weight and a severe lack of self confidence. I spent my entire youth battling my relationship with food and struggling to gain an ounce of self respect and appreciation for the body I was given. As a young adult I had already tried every diet trick in the book; I lost weight and I gained weight.

My life changing moment occurred a little over two years ago. Fresh out of a devastating relationship, something clicked inside of me and I was finally ready to take control of my life and live the life I knew that I deserved.

I completely changed my diet. I went from fast food and rum & cokes to whole foods and water with lemon. I started going to the gym a couple days a week and got involved with martial arts.
And then one night I laced up my sneakers and I started to run. Little by little I ran farther and longer.

As of today I've lost almost 50 pounds, ran multiple races including two half marathons. Became vegetarian and made loving myself an absolute priority.

But my transformation story is not yet over! In fact the best is yet to come.

Now, after adding programs like P90X and Insanity to my running routine, my goal is all about losing the extra fluff and building a lean and toned fitness machine.

I've never had so much fun nor have I ever felt better then I do right here, right now.
