In mid 2010 after my wife and I had reached many of our career goals we sat down and looked at physical and health goals. We were both 50-60 lbs overweight and were not at the weight or appearance we wanted to be.

At one point I was around 210 lbs and about 50 lbs overweight and felt sluggish and tired all the time. It was effecting me at work and my everyday life with my family.

I had always been active and into sports when I was younger but didn't seem to have the time to do those things while acheiving my career goals.

I made it a goal to lose weight at that point and started playing basketball once a night every week. The first time I went to play I realized just how out of shape I really was. I felt my body running and jogging up and down the court and it was repulsive to be able to feel all of the fat on my body move up and down with each step. I had to slow down and walk every couple of minutes just to catch a breath to keep playing. At that point I knew I was going to have to do more than just play a game of basketball once a week.

My wife had actually already purchased the Slim-in-6 workout videos and started to lose her "baby-weight" right away. I started noticing her changes as she was looking thinner and more attractive which inspired me to do the same.

I got into P90x shortly after that in June 2010. I gradually started the program and it really kicked my butt the first couple of weeks. In fact, the day after the first video my body was truthfully the most sore it had EVER been. That's when I knew this stuff was for real.

It was hard for me to do the full workouts every day at first. Around August I got pretty serious about doing the program consistently while eating healthy as well. That is when I started to really tone up and lose weight and get "seriously ripped."

I have a ton of more energy and I feel healthier than ever before. I am about 160 lbs and working on toning up my 6 pack and upper body more while working to be able to run a half marathon later this year.

I'm not completely where I want to be yet but I know if I continue with the beach body programs I will be. And I will be able to continue to be as well.

My goal now is to help others feel the way I do by showing them what I did.
I am now starting on the "Shakeology" program and using the "Meal Planner" with Beach Body to further my lifestyle changes.

I will be trying more Beach Body products and programs soon and I will update my recommendations I have for my clients as I go.
