I am a 31 year old father of two, ages 5 and 2. I have been overweight most of my life. I got in shape by
mountain biking and running in my early 20's, but a fractured patella slowed
me down. I recovered from that injury, but have felt it ever since. In 2000, I
met my wife and we were married in 2001. Married life and school took its
toll, and by November of 2008 I weighed 277 lbs. I had

We are using Power 90. I saw a P90X commercial while travelling for work

We are using Power 90. I saw a P90X commercial while travelling for work
several months ago. It seemed like something we could do together. We
read about P90X and realized we weren't ready for that yet so started on
Power 90. On day 55 I am down to 245 lbs from 277. I feel amazing.
Yesterday I went through my old clothes and tried on my xl shirts. They fit! I
am out of 2xl shirts. Two months ago, my 2xl shirts were getting snug, and I
was thinking about 3xl! We will take photos in a few days and re- measure.
At day 30, I had lost 20 lbs, and 2.1" off my chest, 2.4" off my waist, and 1.2"
off my hips. My pants are loose. I can pull them off without unbuttoning. I
have put a new hole in my belt, and will soon put in another to tighten it up
more. It feels so good to be getting back in shape. Several days ago, one of
my co-workers commented that I looked thinner. That was awesome! I am
excited to see my measurements on day 60. My wife and I plan to do Power
90 again on level 3-4 and maybe order 5-6. Then go to P90X. I can't wait!

Update: day 150. Down from size 40 pants to size 36. Down from 2x shirts
fitting snugly, to fitting into Large. Jogged 4 miles last week at 12.5
min/mile. Jogged 3 last night at 11.5 min/mile. Feeling Great! going to start
P90X on May 12th. Can't wait!
My weight loss seems to have plateaued, but I continue to lose inches.
Hopefully P90X will jump start things again.

Update: Power 90 day 180/ P90X day 2. Feeling amazing.
Ran 6.5 miles last week at 12 min/mile. P90X is awesome. I can't wait to see the results. I plateaued in the last two months of Power 90. I wasn't losing any weight, and only lost minimal inches. P90X is just what I need!
