Born is San Fransisco, I grew up in the bay area but at a young age (17)I left home and ended up in Orlando, Fl where I established myself in life and worked day and night to make ends meet. I eventually got married years later to a beautiful motivated woman. She was from Pennslavnia where she eventually talked me into moving to. We know have 2 kids (boy and girl) so life is moving good for us.

My daughter walks around and says BEACHBODY every time I pop in a DVD of P90x. I thnk it is good that my children see that health is important. She does do the warm ups with us.

If you took the time to read this then I know you are like most people out there who want a change. They are looking for a fun but healther way of life.

I have found staying in shape to be fun even though I too have fallen into the slump of laziness. It has always been a roller coaster. I always try to find a motivational tool for me to get back into a workout schedule. I don't do gyms because of the family and kids so I have my area built into my basement. My wife works out with me (which is something new for us) She has always walked on a treadmill at least 5 days a week. We have been plugging away at the program and as I would love to follow it to a T, family has to come first so I may not get to work out in the morning.

As I look around me I see others who sit around and just complain that they need to go on a diet to lose weight but then I hear them say how they were stressed and went home and became a couch potato and stuffed themself with bad food. Then I run into those who are on a diet such as that Southbeach but only realize they are missing the biggest ingredient. It is a little thing called exercise.

I am 39 with 2 kids and work full time like rest of the world so time is valuble. I find the time to exercise and eat right so that I can feel and look good. Age is nothing but a number. Our mind is our best friend and if you tell yourself you can do something, it will happen.
Now I was not one to buy workout videos because they seemed to dull, or they would be out near some body of water working out. I have viewed Power half Hour and what a big difference between the the program. P90X has really broght the style of workout to be more fun and realistic. The workout warehouse (stage) is brilliantly down. The camera work is much better and could be a little better but I see the vision beachbody wanted to bring and believe it or not, I bought the program and can not put it down.

My goal is to just smile and help others on staying positive. You have to be in the right mind to diet and exercise.
