Finishing one book "Virtual Etiquette" and researching the second "Connected: Technology and the Collaboration of Modern Humanity", starting my instrument rating lessons for my pilot's license, training for the Chicago Marathon October 11th (woohoo), and exploring the EU as much as possilbe...most importantly- enjoying family, friends and people!!!!!

Mens sana in corpre sano! (Strong mind in a strong body)- Key phrase to my transformation story. I started in the Beachbody community a few weeks before my 40th birthday. Ready for some major changes, I took the healthy route and focused on getting my body into its strongest, healthiest and most vital stage, while concurrently working on the mental stimulation my mind craved. To make all goals a reality, I need to be at my highest level of energy and fitness!
So here I am sitting in Oxford University at 41yrs old, working towards my doctorate in Sociology, running an amazing software company as the VP of Global Sales & Marketing, and finishing my first book to be published end of 2009. Getting to that healthy balance of strength, endurance and lower body fat % physically, has given me the same effects mentally! Mentally you get stronger, think more focused for longer periods of time and lose the head-trash when you are physically at your optimum level.
Now I am training for the Chicago Marathon, whilst here in Oxford. Running in rural England is just as soulfully stimulating as it is physiologically, and I am so honored to be here. Tony Horton's PX90 is sitting out in my flat right next to the DVD player, heart monitor, and bands; so I've got no excuse each day to 'just hit play'! And do I hit it!!!
Basically, the moral of my transformation story is; every decade of your life gets better and better, it is NEVER too late to start, focus on what you want and realize that it takes the entirety of YOU to make those dreams a reality- physically and mentally you must be in the game!
Loving life as the healthiest, most motivated forty-something person you'll ever know- no complaints about that atracting the twenty-somethings! :)
