Transformation story

I've always been very active in general. I was a swimmer back home and
volleyball player. I have always enjoyed lifting weights and dancing. But I've
never had my legs and buns the way More ...
I've always been very active in general. I was a swimmer back home and
volleyball player. I have always enjoyed lifting weights and dancing. But I've
never had my legs and buns the way I've always wanted. Perhaps due to my
chocolate addiction or my love popcorn and a movie. During my pregnancy in
2005 I gained 50 pounds...I know way over board right? Unfortunately, I had
some complications during my pregnancy that prevented me from being very
active at all.
I was hopping that my baby would be born with 50 pounds, and although he
was born quite big a month ahead of time he was only 8 pounds. I couldn't
get back to working out until one month after birth, so I waited patiently for
January 20th to arrive so I could get back at it full speed.
My husband’s incentives to lift heavy weights and eat well (but no diets) were
very helpful. I was working out 2 times a day cardio in the mornings for
45min to 1 hour and heavy weights at night.
I had set my goal to lose 5 pounds per month so I wouldn't be disappointed.
One month later on February 21st to my surprise I had lost 40 pounds, which
brought me back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
I can't say that I have a great diet, I usually eat organics, a lot of fish and
veggies, but I have to say that I love sweets. I have no problem with Fast food,
(hamburger's and others I can go decades without), but I love my chocolate.
Now I'm about the same weight I fluctuate between 3 to 4 pounds when I
travel. My body fat is lower than it was 3 years ago though, but still not
where I want to be. It seems as though I have reached a brick wall. I would
like to weight 120 and have my legs and butt better than ever. So I decided to
take the challenge of P90X and Chalene Extreme for 90 days.
