I am married with two children. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. My son is 18 and just graduated high school. I have been homeschooling him since he started the sixth grade. My daughter is 16 and a junior in high school. I have been homeschooling her since the fourth grade. She just got her driver's permit.
Once my daughter graduates from high school, I will return to college and finish my last three semesters to finally get my degree in Secondary Math Education (to teach high school math). I will have only taken me about 22 years to finally get it...lol But for right now, I'll be a happy teacher of all subjects to one great girl!
I enjoy sewing, crocheting, as well as other various crafts. I also enjoy reading and learning new things and when time and money permit, remodeling the house (my husband and I do all the work ourselves). I had started taking karate with my daughter, but haven't had time to get back. Hopefully now that I am down to schooling only one, I'll eventually find the time.
I am also the youth leader, lay leader, and treasurer for our church.
My husband, my daughter and myself all started the Power 90 program together on 9/10/07.
