I'm a 52 year old law enforcement trainer. Before starting work at the academy I gained a bunch of weight. Working so many hours as an investigator caused me to not eat right, or workout very much at all. Started the P90X program to get back into shape to keep up with the young guys.

The initial nutrition was different than anything I've ever done. I couldn't eat everything. About 2 weeks in, I was hungry all the time. Amazing. Once I figured out how to eat, it wasn't difficult. I tweaked an old shoulder injury, which limited my ability to do much fly work. Toward the end of the program I overused my left elbow, tendonitis, which limited my curls, etc.. Wasn't able to do much the last few weeks. Took some time off to heal. Preparing to try another round starting 19 July 09.
