Hi, I'm an outgoing, stay at home mom. I was an outgoing single, in the ministry, when I met my wonderful husband. 18 years and 6 kids later I am 100 pouds over weight. (Down 35lbs) and with a very low thyroid it has been a stuggle. I am a very motivated, posite person I just need someone to help me keep at it. I'm not a big eater, but i am a healthfood nut,junkfood junky. After my first son was born I sarted to feel pain and fatigue all the time and was told it was this or that. I was told to go on this drug or that drug but I was alway pregnant or breastfeeding so drugs were out. I started to study alternative medicine. It got so bad that walking across the house was a challange. I would go to the store and by the time I got to the door I was to tired to shop.After 5 years I heard some great teaching on Prayer and the biblical promises on health and i slowly got better. 4 years later after the birth of my 5th child I started to feel a normal amount of energy.I gained amout 20 pounds with each pregnancy and after the child was born the weight decided to stay. I thought it was just baby weight but on my birthday this year I decided my present to me would be a fit body for my next birthday. I went to the doctor and had blood work done and they found a very low thyriod and candida, and food allergies. I went on an eating program that made atkins look like a food fest. I exercised and nothing for weeks.I am down 20 pounds but at 5'3" and 213lbs and 5months into it... I would like better results. I bought "yoga booty ballet" and "Power 90" and I thought that this site would help. I know the equipment God gave me was good but I am going to have to take better care of it. I learned a lot being overweight but the self image is OK but not the self dissipline. I was a thin kid but I am one of those who doesn't really like to exercise but I know I must. It's not just about me(I don't know why it took me so long to realise how it affected everyone else) I am ready to change but it is hard without a support group of people going through it with you. I am excited about this now but I know that for the long haul I need accoutability. My husband loves me no matter what, which is a blessing because my mother was not as fortunate. It is time for me to take the bull by the horns and get in this game. Thanks and a lot of love- Tanyaintexas
