Denton, TX I'm back again for about the fourth or fifth time. I made it down to 179-lbs in October 2008. I slid off track several times since then and have made several attempts to get back on track, but I keep getting derailed. I attempted it again in April '09 and then I blew out my knee that following May. I have gained over 40lbs since then on the do nothing, eat and drink everything-program I'm back again for about the fourth or fifth time. I made it down to 179-lbs in October 2008. I attempted it again in April '09 and then I blew out my knee that following May. I have gained over 40lbs since then on the do nothing, eat and drink everything-program designed by Self Destruction. I am sure many of you have dealt with this situation and are wishing you had not, as am I. I have got to find me some new motivation and/or group support, something or someone who can help me get back on track! I turned 49 last September (2010), it is time to put my foot down and say “the buck stops here!” My fitness goals are to eat healthier and smarter, burn fat, get leaner, stronger, and healthier than I am now or have ever been. Right now I can barely go up a flight of stairs without having to catch my breath once I reach the top. When I began my transfiguration the first time, my weight teetered around 200. Now, I am pushing 220. Ultimately I would like to drop my weight down to around 175 more or less and lose that middle age spread. To get that lean and toned look that I desire to have! I desire to be seen as I see myself in my minds eye, a Lean, Mean, Fat Burning Machine! One thing, if nothing else that ought to motivate me, is the fact that research now has proven a link between mid-life obesity and Alzheimer’s disease. I got to stay focused and motivated if I expect to see results. They say one definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. It ain’t going to happen! Perhaps Alzheimer’s is already slowly creeping in? Good Lord forbids it! I am responsible for my past and my future. It is time for a change and I choose now! I choose to be happy! I WILL SUCCEED! I AM A WINNER! MY DESTINY IS ASSURED! Terlynh.(1/25/11)

Was jogging several times a week. Up until Feb of this year ('08), I was in the fitness center at work,working out 4-5 times a week, and benching 400lbs on the smith machine. I caught the flu and my schedule changed at work and I got off my workout routine for several months. Then, in the middle July and I've fianlly gotten back on a workout schedule at home and started burning that fat! I Started my P90X program 7/25/08. by Day 28 I dropped 13-lbs, down 2" in the hips, 1" in the waist, & 4% BF. Feeling Great! By Day 56 down 21-lbs and 3" all around. This Program is Awesome! Day 90 dropped 23-lbs and 7% body fat. Nov. 2, 08. Starting Round 2 on P90X!! Did not make it! Tried again in January. Missed about 35 days total this round. Going to try it again now in starting up in April. Wish me luck!
