Hi! My name is TINA LANEY. Welcome to the most exciting chance to change your life that I’ve seen in years! I am so thrilled about becoming a Coach for Beachbody. I have always been a fitness nut – my parents were very involved in gymnastics and dance (did USO shows back in WWII) so I was always doing “stunts” as a kid. My 8th grade career report was on becoming a Physical Education Hi! My name is TINA LANEY. Welcome to the most exciting chance to change your life that I’ve seen in years! I am so thrilled about becoming a Coach for Beachbody. I have always been a fitness nut – my parents were very involved in gymnastics and dance (did USO shows back in WWII) so I was always doing “stunts” as a kid. My 8th grade career report was on becoming a Physical Education Teacher. (I can get paid for exercising and playing sports? Count me in!! ) Following my dreams, I became a PE teacher. Having been a cheerleader and dancer in college, I caught the dance bug 5 years later. In the 70"s the fitness and dance craze was just beginning. I started taking every dance and “aerobic” class I could find. I got so “jazzed” about dance I stopped teaching in the public schools and opened my own dance studio. I taught combo classes of jazz, tap, ballet,and aerobics for everybody from 3-70 years old. It was great fun but very challenging being a business owner. Five years later America West Airlines (now US Airways) opened in Arizona. Ok, who hasn’t wanted to be a flight attendant – it’s SO glamorous – HA! I got the travel bug and have been “serving beverages” at 25,000 feet ever since. (in turbulence, no less!) And, the dance studio? I did both, but after a while the airlines won out. I kept my passion for teaching alive by being an instructor for our Flight Attendant training program. After 25 years in the airline industry, eating on the go, crossing many time zones (am I supposed to sleep now, it’s only 6 PM in Arizona) and NEVER exercising, I find I’m too often tired and crabby. What could be missing? Well, duh, Lil’ Miss, could it be fitness? I’ve used all the excuses: “No time”. . . “But, I really like garlic fries every night" . . . “I’m too tired” . . . “I’ll go to the gym tomorrow” . . . and the most famous of all . . .”REALLY, this year I’m going to get back in shape". ENOUGH!!! Finally my good friend and MY Coach, Donna Meyer, helped me realize I can do it and also help inspire others to develop a healthy lifestyle. So ---- are you ready --- Let’s Live it up and enjoy this journey together. FIT, FIRM and FABULOUS!!!

I am just starting on my journey to becoming FIT,FIRM and FABULOUS. I have struggled with weight on and off since I was a teenager. I tried all the silly diet fads, finally I kicked myself and More ...
I am just starting on my journey to becoming FIT,FIRM and FABULOUS. I have struggled with weight on and off since I was a teenager. I tried all the silly diet fads, finally I kicked myself and realized "hey, there is no magic pill or silly diet plan that works" I needed to take a look at my degree -- oh yeah -- Physical Education with a Health minor -- and use the knowledge I gained from that. I started eating healthier and exercising regularly. The pounds came off. I've kept the weight off, but in the past 10 years or so I have not kept up with an exercise program. (I use to be a maniac!) So then I discovered Beachbody! Wow! I am loving this -- I can just "PUSH PLAY" at home or on the road and have a fabulous workout everyday! (even in my pajamas if I want!) I had foot surgery in July, and that really made me realize how important staying in shape is!! So, I'm on my way to becoming FIT,FIRM and FABULOUS!! Stay tuned for more!
