Hey everybody! My name is Rachel Boller. I am an ACE certified personal trainer, Turbo Kick instructor, owner of Busy Mama Fitness and weight loss coach! My fitness loves are running, lifting and Turbo but it hasn't always been that way!
You see, most of my life I have fought an eating disorder: Binge Eating Disorder to be exact. I don't mean the occasional weekend binge either. I would eat so much that I would get sick and still not be able to stop. Sometimes, I would even force myself to throw up. Living this way made me get up over 300 lb.
Then I gave birth to my son and became extremely sick. I developed Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis because my liver was too full of fat. I had to have my gallbladder removed because it couldn't work properly and I was prediabetic. My lifestyle was not the example I wanted to set for my son. It was time for a change.
I started with P90X and let me tell you, it was hard. Working out at 300 lb is no laughing matter! But even though it hurt and I would get sick, I made myself do it everyday. I even followed the nutrition plan and I'm generally very stubborn about that! With P90X I lost 30 lb but even more important, I started to get stronger.
After doing P90X, I started Turbo Fire. I completed the whole program and then the advanced classes and lost over 100 lb!!! I couldn't believe it! After Turbo, I tried Les Mills Pump and lost 30 or so more pounds. Then I did Insanity and got to the point of being strong enough to run a half marathon - and I crossed that finish line at 2 hours and 9 minutes. Pretty good for my first. Now I'm doing Body Beast to get stronger and loving it.
See, here's the deal. Whether you lose weight or don't, it's a decision that YOU have to make. No one can do it for you. YOU have to DECIDE to COMMIT to being BETTER. You're so worth it so if you're ready, just do it. Don't get lost in the planning, just push play. Don't wait to find the new, stronger, more confident you. Remember, there are people in your life who really care about you and want you to be YOUR BEST. I'm ONE OF THEM!
