Hi! My name is Michelle and I live in Las Vegas. I have a very busy life with a husband, two young children, & a full time job as an elementary school teacher. I have always been active with walking, gardening, & hiking. After my last pregnancy, my body hasn't been holding up very well. I have gained a few pounds and have been having a negative body image. On top of that, I have a bladder disease called Interstitial Cystitis and I have osteoarthritis in my neck and back. The bladder issue has forced me to eat more fresh foods and foods with lower sodium but I have not been allowed to enjoy fresh citrus fruit or many of the foods that you would eat on a "lose weight diet". The osteoarthritis has forced me to lead a pretty sedentary life. This doesn't help when you are trying to lose a few pounds. My brother-in-law told my husband and I about Million Dollar Body and with some coaxing, I joined. With the help of MDB's WOWY, their exercise programs, and my diet I hope to reach my personal goal.

Transformation story

I have always been skinny and relatively fit until 2 months of bedrest during a pregnancy derailed my body in ways that I never imagined. Those would be called "hips". Then I was diagnosed with several health issues. One of those has forced me on a very restrictive diet. The other is osteoarthritis in my neck and back. It is very difficult to walk some days. I am hoping that with some pain management and the yoga booty ballet series, just the yoga to start, I will begin to feel like my old self.
