I am married to a wonderful man and have 2 beautiful girls ages 13 and 10. I had never had to worry about my weight until after the birth of my second daughter. I was a stay at home mom with 2 girls in a new city and ended up overweight & depressed. I tried fad diets with some success but could never keep the weight off. Finally, I decided that I needed to reclaim the joy in my life and do something about the weight. I started off in Jazzercise classes because I have always loved to dance. I saw results there, but then I plateaud. I joined an all ladies gym started working out on my own on the treadmill and machines. Then someone told me about this turbokick class that I HAD to try. So I gave it a shot, standing in the back of the room. One hour and I was hooked!!!! The music was "kickin" and the moves were so much fun. I started seeing my body change and started seeing definition where I had never seen it before. Two years later I am now a Turbokick instructor and also AFAA certified group fitness instructor. I LOVE teaching classes and helping motivate and encourage other women in their desire to be fit, healthy & happy.
