Puyallup, WA I am a 41 year old single mother of 2 great kids, soon to be a grandma. Cant beleive I will be a grandma! I have been a nurse for almost 17 years. Working as a nurse helped keep the weight off as I was always running around and working overtime. Now I am self employed and have a desk job, being sedentary and having surgery has not helped. Turning 40 I am sure has not helped to. I have had all I am a 41 year old single mother of 2 great kids, soon to be a grandma. Cant beleive I will be a grandma! I have been a nurse for almost 17 years. Working as a nurse helped keep the weight off as I was always running around and working overtime. Now I am self employed and have a desk job, being sedentary and having surgery has not helped. Turning 40 I am sure has not helped to. I have had all the excuses in the world to skip working out. Have had a gym membership for over 2 years, even paid for the training sessions. My 16 year old son is currently using up the zillion training sessions I purchased. Always a reason not to go to the gym, to busy, to tired, have work to get done. Of course working from home I can use that excuse all the time. I was one of the lucky ones in my 20's, didnt gain baby weight, ate whatever I wanted, and was thin up until 4 years ago. Then had surgery and have had trouble keeping weight off since. Until 4 years ago I would fluctuate between 110 and 115, now I run 148 to 155. At my worse, pre tummy tuck weight, was 165. I am only 5'2"! I have tried all the diets out there, even have gone the extreme of a tummy tuck and liposuction. That was great for a while, but almost 2 years after surgery I see the scale creeping up and cannot let that happen. I know you just cant have surgery, not change your habits, and expect all to be perfect. But thats what I did. I have heard alot about the P90X program. I have a few friends who are currently doing the workout and love it. Well I think its a love/hate thing. But I have figured if they can do it so can I. Of course the P90X intimidates me, so I am starting with the Power 90. I will try to keep my blog updated as to my progress. This time I will be successfull and will have Beachbody to thank for that! I will have a graddaughter in November, will not look or act like a grandma :).......

08/10/10 Okay kind of fell off there for a while. Excuses, excuses......nothing more I can say about that. But day 2 and need to keep going.
Still like the sculpt workout, did that yesterday and More ... 07/12/10 I did the Sculpt workout yesterday, kept it simple.
