I am a 47 y/o American Indian woman, divorce and mother of a 15 y/o daughter, Layla. I have a strong family history of diabetes, hypertension and obesity. I am a full time nurse practitioner at an Indian Health Service outpatient clinic and a Captain in the U.S Public Health Service.
