In October I'll be turning 53, I have been trying to improve my health because of my heart issues that were discovered this year, 2008.

There is still way to much stress in my live, mostly work. I and my husband will most likely will be loosing our jobs by 2009/2010. There is no set date or enough information to even let us make the life changes choices we need to make at this time, what

Well I stopped working out in December because of chest pains. I was told I had no heart issues, it was just indigestion. On January 7th I went for a stress test and was having angeoplasty done More ...
Well I stopped working out in December because of chest pains. I was told I had no heart issues, it was just indigestion. On January 7th I went for a stress test and was having angeoplasty done early 1/8. For three months I was out of work but going to cardiac rehab. I'm still walking and doing other cardiac workouts as well as some resistance training. I've getting back into my P90 workouts, still have some restrictions, but I know it is important to exercise to improve my health. I was actually surprised to see that even though I haven't lost much weight, I do try to watch my diet as well, that I have lost inches since my first measurements were taken.

Well since going back to work I've been walking to work about 4 times a week, if weather permit. I have finished Slim In 6, and since 8/1/08 I've been doing Turbo Jam. I recently started getting some P90X in my routine by adding YogaX once a week. I also just received my Ten Minute Trainer workout. Once the weather gets to cold to walk to work I'd like to start replacing my walk to work with a Ten Minute Trainer routine. I'll be placing that in my rotation so I can learn the routines and be ready to do them daily when the time comes. I still don't eat great, but I am trying constantly to better my diet by not eating large portions or foods that are not good for you. This of course makes it seem like it takes forever to loose weight. However, I had seen my Cardiologist around June/July and he was impressed with my workout routine and the changes he saw. I know that because you don't see big changes on the outside doesn't mean you aren't making big changes for the better on the inside.
