My name is Alex and I live in sunny Tampa, Florida. I am huge baseball fan and love all sports in general. I am 30 years old and have yoyo dieted most of my life. I was chubby up until college and then got into good shape thru my college years. After graduating at 23yrs old and entering the corporate world, I began slowly packing on the pounds over the last 6-7 years. Before I knew it, I was almost 300 lbs and 5'10. I saw the P90X infomercial and was very skeptical at first because I never buy anything from infomercials. But this one just made a lot of sense to me. After doing some research on it, I could see I wasn't ready for P90X quite yet, so I started with P90.

I started P90 on 5/4/09 at 296 lbs. I finished at 246 lbs for a total weight loss of 50 lbs! Towards the end of P90, I started to plateau and I knew there was more to do. Now I am starting P90X on 8/10/09. I have watched all the videos more than once, have all the equipment, and know exactly what to expect.

I became a coach for a few reasons. #1: I truly enjoy helping people and I am very passionate about the programs that beachbody offers. #2: Believe it or not, I was a certified personal trainer at a Lifestyles gym while I was in college. I know a little bit more than the average person about working out properly and eating right. #3 Everyone I know has noticed the dramatic change in my body just from doing P90. They are all asking me what my secret is. So I figured why not try to make a little extra money if I am going to be talking about beachbody to everyone who pays me a complement. Just wait till I am done with P90X! My body will do all the talking.
