Rolling Hills Estates, CA I've always been active - sports, rollerblading, hiking, motorcyclcing, dancing - which kept me physically in excellent condition. As life got busier, and there was less time for "play" my weight started climbing. Having been a chubby kid I'd always sworn I'd stay fit as an adult. Yeah. Right.
One day I realized the "loafers" on my feet were there because it was too difficult to tie my shoes. I've always been active - sports, rollerblading, hiking, motorcyclcing, dancing - which kept me physically in excellent condition. As life got busier, and there was less time for "play" my weight started climbing. Having been a chubby kid I'd always sworn I'd stay fit as an adult. Yeah. Right.
One day I realized the "loafers" on my feet were there because it was too difficult to tie my shoes. It was like bending over while holding a basketball to my stomach. Sleeping was interrupted by the same "basketball." Dancing was no longer an option - too much body mass moving in the wrong direction at the wrong time.
To keep a short story short, thanks to Tony Horton, Beach Body, and the P90X program I've lost 50 pounds. Physically, I'm in the best condition in over 12 years. People find it hard to believe my age - 46 years. Now I have the energy to pursue family, career, and life goals that was missing just a few months ago. Sleeping better, and feeling better emotionally are two positive side effects I hadn't anticipated.
All this because I asked "..does this really work?" Well...it does. Join us, and try working the whole program - exercise, nutrition, and plugging into the Beach Body community. If it can work for me, it'll work for anybody!

"Does that really work?" That's what I asked my wife as we watched Tony Horton on a P90X "informercial." Alyce had heard about the program, but I hadn't. A few weeks later, I was cracking open the box. At first the results were less than stellar - no surprise since I wasn't reading the directions. After the Holiday feasting season was over, I committed to following the written recommendations for the P90X classic program. Yikes! It kicked my butt, and the results were beyond what I would have believed without experiencing it myself! The combination of exercise and nutrition worked wonders. Following the P90X Classic exercise plan - fuelled by the Fat Burner nutrition plan - shredded the weight off my body. In just over 90 days - I took 2 week recovery cycles - my weight dropped from 226 pounds to 188 pounds!!! With results like that, it was a natural step to hit another 90-day cycle with the P90X Doubles. At 175 pounds and less than 15% body fat, I actually had to start eating more to keep from losing more weight! My original goal was 190 pounds. Now I've gone from a 38-inch waist, to a 33-inch waist. WOW! I feels great to be fit again. My wife appreciates the upgradded "Husband 2.0" too!! If it works for me, it'll work for anybody. I can't thank Tony Horton, Jon Congdon,Carl Daikeler, and the Beach Body Team enough...you've made a huge difference in my life!!
