Suffield, CT Hello my name is Angelo, and I currently work in the IT field, so basically I sit on my gluteus maximus all day long. My wife is a Registered Nurse and has been on my case about getting healthy. When we met 17 yrs ago, I was always eating lots of carbs and sleeping. A typical dinner for me would be a pound of spaghetti with a loaf of garlic bread, followed by a long nap on the couch. My wife is a Registered Nurse and has been on my case about getting healthy. When we met 17 yrs ago, I was always eating lots of carbs and sleeping. A typical dinner for me would be a pound of spaghetti with a loaf of garlic bread, followed by a long nap on the couch. During college I could either be found snacking on pop tarts or eating double bacon cheeseburger pizza at 2 AM. People would pass by my dorm room to say hello and would always find me passed out on the coach with heavy metal music blasting. I was probably in a carbohydrate coma. I had difficulty balancing my life and have carried these bad habits over into adulthood.
At college I had fallen for my wife, who was athletic, outgoing, and always on the run. So basically we had nothing in common. I realized over the years that I had to stop being a spectator in the game of life. So over the years I tried to participate in more activities. I joined a soccer league at work, I had traveled a bit, and won the heart of my wife.
Being married has been a wonderful experience for me. I have a huge Italian family and seem to be busy going to family events. I want to make sure that I am able to balance my life. I find it difficult to have enough energy to maintain a certain lifestyle. I would like to be able to keep up with my wife's activity level. We are thinking of starting a family, and I would like to be an active parent. I have never been much for exercising. My wife keeps telling me that once I get into a groove, I will love the benefits from working out. So I decided to join her on this beach body journey to see what benefits there are to working out and getting healthy.

My wife has been after me to get healthy, so I decided to join her on this beachbody journey. So far we have done a few turbo jam workouts and I find it a little difficult to follow. I then tried Great Bodies Guaranteed and loved the isometric exercises that Tony Horton shows us. So my wife suggested that I do his ten minute trainer and Great Bodies Guaranteed. I also love to bike ride, roller blade, take walks, play badminton, and use the gazelle. I have decided to commit to working out 3 times a week for now.
