Mountain House, CA I have always had an issue with my weight. I was already 5'7" by the time I was 11 years old, with my self conciousness came in-activity, and the weight packed on. I hovered at 155 thru my tween and early teen years.
I did little to change my habits, but I moved to California on my own @ 15 years old...and public transportation and walking everyday to work as well as learning to surf I have always had an issue with my weight. I did little to change my habits, but I moved to California on my own @ 15 years old...and public transportation and walking everyday to work as well as learning to surf revved the matabolism and I slimmed down to a svelt 125.I modled for a prestiges line in LA,CA and felt confident, sexy and strong, even though I was "a skinny fat person"...
I married @ 20 YO and began eating the same diet and on the same schedual as my husband..I slowely gained weight over the first couple of years of being married and was soon @ my highest weight ever;I remember crying at buying size 12s and seeing 165 on the scale,it was too much for my frame.I was so unhappy with myself,my habits, the way I felt...I wanted to lose weight and ordered Slim in 6. It was a dust collector.A coaster.
I lost 5-10lbs and re-gained it over and over...I tried every diet out there. I joined a womans gym and lost inches and a pant size. I was thrilled. And again...re-gained.
When I found out I had cancer, losing weight hardly seemed like a piority in life. After my cancer went into remission,I tried to be a happy fat person.
@ 167 lbs,I was happy to be pregnant with our first daughter! She was born in Sept 2006...I'd gained 78lbs with my pregnancy.Thats right 245lbs. On a 5'7" frame! I was down on myself for the fat,the shape of my body, the stretchmarks appaled me. I actually left the hospital after giving birth weighing more than I did when I got there! Thank goodness about 10 lbs of it was water retention(I guess if you call that a good thing!).
I just couldnt wait to be able to work out. Having a new born taught me a thing or two about secheduals!
It took me 10 months to lose 47 lbs with a balanced diet, while nursing my daughter, and a very slow childbirth recovery.
I was ready to ramp it up with Slim in 6!Id owned it since it first debuted, but the only reason it had even been opened was for me to 'watch it thru to familiarize myself'...*while eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's*!
I bought Yoga Booty Ballet the moment it came out,And Hip Hop Abs... and started it,even made it thru a couple nights, then quit because Gilmore Girls was on at the time I had set aside for working out. Then it was some other excuse...probably a book club,or dinner party,or laundry,or dinner needing to be made. You'd think I would have followed thru at some point after spending all that money on fun programs!Any excuse not to work out!
I purchased Hip Hop Abs the second I saw that it was coming out. I LOVE it.Every video that comes out; I purchase,Ive not been dissapointed by a MDB/Beach Body product yet, they are challanging deffinatly!
I moved and had to start commuting to my job 4hrs a day. I was divorcing. Was dignosed with stage 4 cancer. But this time I was determined to be burried looking good. More than that I wanted to live! My little girl wasnt even 2 years old yet!
I started Power90,and in 90days of Chemo, radiation and working out...well...it was Team Beach Body Summit in Hollywood,Universal Studios. And I was determined to be there! And I MADE it!!! I drove there alone and made it in time to do the workouts.See Les Brown speak. Chalene Johnson and more!
Ive had some ups and downs...taken some breaks...but even when Im not working out:Im faithful to my Shakeology,my now 4year Old Daughter asks for it! My boyfriend used the products when training for his first 5k and never had an ache with the recovery formula!
Join me! Lets do this together!

I'm starting here to get to there. Come along for the ride?!
I was fat and un-fabulous and headed for fit for life!I started with "Slim in 6" because it was challanging all over body workout. And as much as I could handle.I was stuck on Start It Up for weeks.Itried to push past but would crap out about 15 min into Ramp It Up!But I just kept Pushing Play! I had it forever.I finaly started using it!
When I needed to lose weight after having a baby, and of course had a time crunch, so I couldnt go to a gym.I have always loved the BeachBody workouts and they had this oportunity to become a coach thru MDB(Million Dollar Body).
So I became a coach even though I didnt already have a hot bod!
I figured the best way to stay on track with workouts was to *become a coach* because then for sure I wouldnt miss the workouts,I was commited to the workouts, commited to my team!
And at the same time I could inspire other people to stay on track. And inspiring people in life is so important to me.
So basicaly;thats what I do,inspire other people to stay on track, help them with moves on the workouts they might not be able to get or familiraize them with the videos and the club website.
I want to inspire all of my friends, and everyone that reads this page to make this the year that each and everyone of you makes a change in your habits and becomes 'one of those people' that others ask "how did you do it ?",comments "somthing is different about you", "you look great;so healthy"... This Team Beachbody journey Ive lost 78 lbs total(223-145) and feet upon feet of waist line and thighs! All thanks to the MDB workouts and the ML eating plan! I am no longer animic and have no signs of diabetes that runs rampent in my family, or cancer(that aparently stress brought on ,excercise keeping stress at bay?I think yes!).I can get out and play with my 4 year old daughter and can get in and out of my car without pain or fatigue.I can sleep thru the night (except for my daughter waking me up!) and get up without being groggy. Here is to another year with MDB!
