I saw the Turbo Jam commercial about two weeks ago. I've been wanting to start exercising and eating and feeling better about myself for a long time but it's been really difficult. Last December I got divorced and so I am a full-time working, school going, single mom of 2 amazing kids! My biggest challenge has been finding time to exercise. I work all day and then only have a few precious hours with my kids before it's time for them to go to bed then I start my own school work. I felt guilty getting a gym pass and taking them to the daycare center during that small block of time I have with them. So when I saw the commercial I thought it was heaven sent! I can work out at home whenever, and still be with my kids. Turbo jam is so fun my daughter has been watching me and I'm sure will want to join in soon; and the great thing is that she can.

I've put myself on the back burner for far too long! I've struggled with being over weight since I was 10. When I was 22 I was in the best shape of my life but was still a size 16, but a hot 16 ;). My goal right now really isn't so much about weight as it is about size. When I lived in NYC I had a personal trainer for awhile and remember getting so upset because I wasn't seeing the number on the scale go down fast enough. He told me not to worry because muscle weighs more than fat and then proceeded to re-measure me so that I would see the difference all my hard work was doing. It was really eye opening for me. Although we all have ideal weight goals right now my main goal is to go from a tight 24 to an 18! Then I’ll re-evaluate and set another goal.
