I’m 30 years old and will be 31 this April. I have been overweight my entire life and have decided that enough is enough. I want to be thinner and healthier than I've ever been. After all, they say that 30 is the new 20.
I've yo-yo dieted ever since I can remember. I’m currently at my heaviest weight ever and seeing pictures of myself made me sick. My weight now is 230 pounds. The lightest I’ve been as an adult is about pounds my freshman year in college. I got comfortable with my weight and and went back to my old ways of overeating and not exercising.
After a vicious cycle of this, it finally occurred to me that I was just dieting... I wasn't making a life change. As soon as I would reach a weight I was comfortable with, I'd fall into my old habits and put the weight back on.
I’ve been married 11 months and in that short time gained 55 pounds. I got engaged in January of 2006. Through my engagement, I managed to get my weight down from about 195 to 172 pounds. I crash dieted all of November and December to fit into my size 12 dress. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon (the food was delicious) and I've been eating terribly ever since. I also stopped exercising. I now weigh 230 pounds! That's a 58 lb. weight gain in eleven months!
I'm starting P90 and really sticking to it this time. No more yo-yo dieting. My goal weight is 145 lbs. I'll know I'll reach it doing it the right way and with Beach Body's help!
