I was an athlete in high school, but let myself go in college. Now, I'm trying to get fit and healthy!

I am Turbo obsessed! Chalene Johnson is my motivator and inspiration, I love all of her programs. As of June 2010, I have been pursuing my weight loss for one year and have lost 50lbs primarily with Turbo Jam and Turbo Kick.

Transformation story

I began my transformation on June 11, 2009. At the time, I weighed 218 pounds and I was not at all happy with myself or my life.

I began my transformation on June 11, 2009. At the time, I weighed 218 pounds and I was not at all happy with myself or my life.

I had a gym membership so I started using that as well as some random fitness DVDs I had at home. I made important changes to my nutrition habits including cutting out soda and fast food and increasing my fruit and vegetable intake.

In July 2009, I discovered Turbo Jam. Discovering Turbo and Chalene Johnson was my tipping point. Chalene has been my motivation and inspiration. Without her programs, I'm not sure I would have remained on this journey nor accomplished what I have.

In August 2009, I began attending a Turbo Kick class at my gym. I adore my Turbo Kick class, both for the workout and the awesome people.

As of June 2010, I have lost 50 pounds and am leading an active lifestyle. I am a vegetarian and drink strictly water with the occasional alcoholic drink :) I have FAR MORE energy than I have in years and am happier with myself and my life.

On June 21, 2010 I began TurboFire! I am hoping that TurboFire will be just what I need to lose that last 20-25lbs to get me to my goal weight!
