Back for round 2. I went through insanity and lost 40 lbs was healthy and fit. Lost the focus and back for another try!

New SHAKEOLOGY arrived and it is strawberry. It is awesome and my new FAVORITE! I have one shake every day for lunch and it keeps me focused and full! I can't believe I can drink only one shake and it my blood sugar doesn't spike and dive like a regular lunch. I don't get the 4:00 PM crash when I have a shakeology lunch! This is the best and is helping me on my journey!

Week 1 of Insanity:
Week one of insanity is done! Today was my day of rest (yeah right!) I got in Upper Body and it was a KILLER workout at 5:00 AM. Now, I am home from work and wondering what shall I try for the evening workout... I have so many choices with beachbody. I have my first and favorite power 90, or power 90 masters. I might choose to go to brazil for a butt lift or maybe pump it up with Les Mills. Perhaps a bit of Power 90X or a little uplift with Body Gospel. Last night, after work, I hung out with Chalene. We had a good workout it was HIIT 20. Decisions to many!

I think I will go with my ALL TIME favorite DVD. Would you like to know what it is? Tony Horton Fat Burning Express. It is my all time favorite becasue it is set in Hawaii and has REAL PEOPLE like me who have done the program in the video. Plus there are transformation pictures that pop up for inspiration.

My goal: My photo pops up and is inspiring. I took all of my "before" pictures and put them under LOCK and KEY! I will post them once I have a few pictures I can be proud of to display on this site. For now, I hang my head in shame and get my butt out to the gym for Tony's relaxing 35 minutes in Hawaii. Wonder if it is really that beautiful there??

Week 2 of Insanity:
Well, today was Day 1 of week 2 of my insanity goal. It is Saturday and I got up early 5:40 to do my workout. I slept in only 40 minutes because I do my workout at 5:00 on weekdays. No excuses I have to work out before everyone is up! So, I did. My usual routine is to log in to beachbody and power up the supergym and then I put my steel cut oats on the stove for 40 minutes and head to the gym for the workout.

After the workout I relax with breakfast: steel cut oats (1/2 cup dry) with blueberries, bee pollen, flax seeds and oat bran. Cup of coffee and of course another 16 oz of water. I chill out and watch the news or maybe a taped DVR show for about 20 minutes and then I shower and get ready for work. (Regular day). Today I did the same routine but when my 12 year old son came down the steps at 6:30 he said, "So, are we going to run the 5K today?"

Yes we are! Even though I worked out with insanity I can dig deeper than that! We ran a 5K that started today at 10:00 AM. Now, I just got home (took my week 2 pictures with my running gear on) and logged in here to blog.

Want to have a record of how hard I am working and how good I feel so that if I ever think I want to give up I can read this and remember that I am not going back. I am going forward. Push through and just do this!

I feel awesome about my day and it is still early!
