I am currently going to school and am only 12 credits away from my Bachelor's in Accounting. Today (May 31st) I start my P90X Classic program and can't wait to see the results I get.

On November 21, 2008 I hit rock bottom. My daughter had come to me and asked for breakfast. I told her to wait. I had been lying down on the sofa watching TV for a good hour already and she came up More ...
On November 21, 2008 I hit rock bottom. My daughter had come to me and asked for breakfast. I told her to wait. I had been lying down on the sofa watching TV for a good hour already and she came up again and asked for breakfast. I was annoyed at the fact that I had to get up off the sofa, so I screamed in her face “WAIT!”
My daughter, with tears in her eyes said “I’m sorry mommy.” I felt horrible by what just happened. How could I be so darn lazy that I would scream at my child for wanting her breakfast? I felt the like the worst mother to ever exist. I cried that entire morning and while I was preparing her breakfast I hated myself. I had all these horrible thoughts in my head but I knew it then, ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH! I had to make a change, a big change. That day, I promised both my kids a new mommy.
That Monday, I weighed in at 170lbs. At the end of my 90 days of Power 90, I weighed 145 lbs. I had lost 25lbs and was extremely proud of myself but I knew I wasn’t done. I continued doing some other workout DVDs while my P90X showed up. I got down to 139 lbs and was excited to start P90X. A few months into the program, my husband and I decided to try for baby number 3.
For those that have fertility issues, you know how draining, devastating and heartbreaking the process can be. I would tell myself, okay, this month is it but no, no baby. It started taking a toll on me. My diet faltered, my workouts started to become non existent. I knew depression had gotten the best of me. My clothes started fitting me tighter and tighter so on March 1, 2010 I decided to step on the scale. I was SHOCKED!! 147 lbs!
That same day I knew that things had to change. Here I am, 90 days later and at the end of my P90X Lean program at 132 lbs. So, what’s next for me? P90X Classic.
I shared all this with you all because you might be where I was a couple of years ago and probably feeling that there is no hope. There is, but it has to come from within you. You will only succeed if you believe you can and if you need someone to help you with accountability, I’m here for you. So, it doesn’t matter what you did before, what matters is what you are doing today. So, forgive yourself if you have to and then make a plan of what you want to accomplish. Decide. Commit. Succeed. BRING IT!
