I began my transformation five years ago. Although I was active and athletic since childhood my eating habits were such that I remained overweight (technically obese)the majority of my adult life. I wore a size 16 to 18, occasionally gaining and losing the same 10 lbs. My turning point occurred when I tried on a pair of size 18 jeans and they were too small!!! I vowed to never wear a 20 and began seriously changing my way of life to include a stronger spiritual connection, eating healthier and exercising more. Using tools such as counting carbs, then points and adding cardio and weight lifting to my daily routine I was able to lose the weight and achieve my healthy goal weight, body mass index and fat percentage. I am very excited to continue on this path of health, wellness and fitness by becoming a Beach Body Coach and joining this fabulous team of fitness enthusiasts. My current goal is to maintain a healty mind, spirtit and body and to spread the wonderful news of health, wellness and prevention to others with the hope that they too will be able to transform their lives.
