I am 33 years old. I am very happily married since 9/3/06. I have 3 beautiful & wonderful Step-Children in this marriage that I love and adore. I also have a BEAUTIFUL Daughter, my only biological child, waiting on me in Heaven since January 26, 2006.
I am employed FULL-TIME doing medical billing & collections for a Neurologist and I LOVE my job - it's very challenging and keeps me VERY BUSY, but rather sedentary. I am also trying to get started as a self-contractor doing medical billing from home as well.
I have always struggled with my weight and come from a family that is overweight. At one time in my life I weighed 193lbs and wore a size 22. I had gotten down to 140lbs and was wearing a size 8/9, but have been slowly gaining weight back over the past year and I am NOT HAPPY about it!!! I don't always have a lot of free time to spend working out or extra money to spend on fitness equipment, gym memberships, etc. I just want to be able to lose weight, get in shape and STAY THAT WAY and get off this weight roller-coaster!!! I also want to be able to ENJOY doing this so I will STICK WITH IT!!!!

Right now, I am just trying to get started on the right track... So far, I have tried to cut back on the amount of food that I eat and also increasing my activity level. I have started walking for about 15-20 minutes each day during my lunch break and have also started "training myself" to use the stairs instead of the elevator at work - I work on the 3rd floor. I haven't achieved much so far - but like I said, I'm just getting started.
