Easton, MD Hello everyone! My goal is to get fit, and make it a lifestyle. Being healthy and fit shouldn't be something you do occasionally. It should be the way you live. It is a priority for me because my family has a history of diabetes and high blood pressure. I also want to pass down a fit and healthy lifestyle to my daughter. I became a beachbody coach because I love fitness, and I also love the Hello everyone! My goal is to get fit, and make it a lifestyle. I gained most of my weight after my third pregnancy. Unfortunately my third child as well as my first didn't make it. My second pregnancy was a success with my beautiful daughter Eden. After 14 years More ...
I gained most of my weight after my third pregnancy. Unfortunately my third child as well as my first didn't make it. My second pregnancy was a success with my beautiful daughter Eden. After 14 years of marriage, my husband decided he wanted to leave the marriage in 2006, and I was left as a stay-at-home mom, with not much of anything. Surprisingly that is when my confidence, and self-esteem grew. You would have thought it would be the other way around. Before I met my husband, I would be in the gym 5 days a week for 2 hours straight. After we met, we started going out to eat, and spending so much time together that my workouts were getting less and less. Before we separated I found out I had High blood pressure. So I started changing my diet, and getting more exercise. It was after the separation I started my first beach body program Hip Hop Abs. I lost over 60 pounds working out with Shaun T. I absolutely loved it. During my second pregnancy, I had gestational diabetes, and had to be on a strict diet. I was told that it was most likely for me to get type II diabetes in the future. I also have a family history of heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. So fitness is a way of life for me. Now my main workout program is P90X. This is my second attempt at P90X. My first attempt only lasted a month and a half. I am determined to complete the 90 day program and I am looking forward to getting amazing results. Then I'll move on to INSANITY! Can't wait! P90X is taking me longer than usual because being a busy single mom, I miss a workout here or there. When that happens I just start the week over again, but I will finish!
Fitness has become such a passion for me that I am making it my career. I am on my journey of getting my BS in Sports Management: Wellness & Fitness, and also getting my certifications as a group fitness instructor, and Personal Trainer. I just got my certification to teach Turbo Kick, and will be working on my certification for Hip Hop Hustle, and maybe Zumba! No limitations! I'm reaching as far as I can.
