About me...
I am a national level bikini competitor and fitness model.
I am also training right now for a “Figure” competition that will take place next year. This involves intense training, dieting, and self control. Figure competing is a newer sub-category of fitness contests. The competitors are judged solely on muscular symmetry and tone. They execute a series of quarter-turns, allowing the judges to view and compare them from all sides for symmetry, presentation, and other aesthetic qualities such as skin tone, hair, make-up, and stylishness of clothing. Lots of practice with posing, etc is involved. I am a very goal-oriented person, and I like a good challenge. I am always trying new things. Now, I am just trying to keep focused on this competition and counting down the days until I am able to get on stage!
I am also a Personal Trainer for Arizona State University. Being a personal trainer is the most rewarding position I could ever be a part of. To raise awareness about the healthier things in life, and see changes in someone, is the greatest gift I could be given.
I run my own photography business. I specialize in children, headshots, families, high school seniors, fitness, and weddings.

My Exercise & Personal Training Philosophy:
Exercise not only feels good but also reduces the risk of developing lifestyle related diseases (stroke, heart attack, diabetes). Regular exercise is vital to make certain that our bodies perform at their best. Fitness is not just a slender waist and toned muscles, it is a strong and healthy heart and lungs, flexible muscles, muscular endurance, muscular strength, core stability of the stomach and back to ensure good posture and alignment, and balance to get the most out of life. Fitness also boosts our energy level, allowing us to enjoy life. It is so much more effective, not to mention healthier, than caffeine. Ask my current clients about their energy level! They are my witnesses.
As one sees changes for the better in a physical way, mental and emotional improvements will naturally follow. Fitness is an important part of a person's happiness. There have been many studies over the years to show that exercise increases the release of endorphins (hormones that make us feel good). This hormone release would have a positive effect on the mental/emotional state of all people whether depressed or not.
Bottom line: if we want to be happy - we must keep moving!
I believe you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Whether you want to lose weight, increase your energy level, eat healthier, or just “feel” better, committing to a good fitness routine can transform your life.
