I have known about Beachbody and their products since about 2000 when I got P90. I started that program, but I never finished the full 90 days. Then I decided to get Slim In 6. Same thing - started More ...
I have known about Beachbody and their products since about 2000 when I got P90. I started that program, but I never finished the full 90 days. Then I decided to get Slim In 6. Same thing - started it but never finished it. I also have Turbo Jam, Ten Minute Trainer, P90X, ChaLEAN Extreme and Insanity - all with the same story - me starting them and not following through to the end of each respective programs. When I would start one of the many programs I have, I never completely followed the nutritional part of the program. I thought that if I just worked out, that I the eating part really didn't matter. I know now that the workouts and nutrition go hand in hand. So I would start a program, not follow the nutrition part of the program, and then when I failed to see any measurable improvements, I would quit. I cannot tell you how many times I have started/stopped, started/stopped a Beachbody program.

Then earlier this year, I reconnected with a friend from grade school, and I told her all about Beachbody. We decided we were going to both start ChaLEAN Extreme and workout and motivate one another. Guess what I did? Yep, I quit after 30 days or so, but she went on to finish the program and got excellent results! And as a result of that, she decided to become a Beachbody coach!

In the meantime, from about March or April of this year until September 12, 2011, I stopped working out. I got out of shape and really became depressed with myself and the way I looked, felt and treated my body. I felt disgusting, and I am not really that overweight. I am just out of shape. I wasn't eating clean, good foods for my body for fuel. I was eating a lot of high-fat foods, and I felt miserable and sorry for myself. I had no one to blame but myself. Yet I couldn't get myself to start working out and eating clean.

Then I saw Beachbody's Challenge to commit to get fit, and so I did. I committed myself to it and decided to start P90X! So I did! I started on 9/12/2011! I am only in my second week, but I am seeing and feeling results!

So as I was preparing myself mentally to start this commitment, I checked Beachbody's site to see if there was a Fit Club in my area. Well, I was disappointed to find out that there is not one. But the Beachbody site suggested I become a coach and start my own Fit Club! Hm, the coach seed had been planted.

I started thinking that there may be others who are struggling with their workouts and nutrition in my area - and all over, for that matter - and that I can help them get started down the path of a healthy and new lifestyle!

So here I am nearing the end of Week 2 - Day 11 - and I am truly sticking to the P90X nutrition guide as well as committing to working out and logging into WOWY every day. I am starting to feel great about my body, I'm happier and I want to help others get fit, both physically and financially!
