I have always been into fitness and involved in sports. After getting a little older.....keeping fit became a bit harder.
Now I am in the process of being where I need to be and it has become more of a lifestyle shift than anything else.

I was introduced to P90X by a couple of friends out in Las Vegas who were posting videos about their P90X journey. At the time I was running a lot but I did not have consistency in my workouts or overall health habits. While doing all of the running, I could say I was working out but I had severely plateaued.

I started at 240 lbs and a 41" waist and when I began P90X I knew for sure that these workouts were way to hard. I vowed to get through the 13 weeks because I refused to believe that I could not do it. After going through 90 days with P90X I was able to go from struggling to do 50 push ups during a workout to doing over 250 push ups...My strength training is way up and now it is just a way of life because it is alot of fun.

I currently am down to 205 lbs and 36" waist working towards my goal of 180 lbs and 32" waist. The most surprising benefit to P90X is how it has improved my overall performance in other activities in my life. This has led to improvements in my relationships, financial gains, and overall quality of life.

I turn 40 yrs old in June 2010' so I am currently working on Rd 2 of P90X. By the time my milestone rolls around I will complete 3 Rd's of P90X. I call this program "Operation Forty and Fine"....it's my way of having fun with it.

I will be posting updates, videos, and pics of my journey. I will give you the good, the bad, and the ugly. Come by and check it out when you can.

My intention is to inspire a community to be healthy and improve the quality of their lives. Are you ready? Trust me its a blast!
