Lumberton, NC Heya!! My name is Denise and I'm a laid off truck driver and food addict.
I have been a food addict since I can remember. When I was 11 years old, I weighed in at 170 lbs. - yep, another obese kid. I hated being the fat girl in school, so over that summer I decided to loose weight the WRONG way. I ate one serving of canned corn a day for 3+ months (if we didn’t have corn for that nights dinner, Heya!! My name is Denise and I'm a laid off truck driver and food addict.

I hated being the fat girl in school, so over that summer I decided to loose weight the WRONG way. I ate one serving of canned corn a day for 3+ months (if we didn’t have corn for that nights dinner, I ate nothing that day). Yeah, it worked as I lost a bunch of weight but man it took a toll.
Fast forward... I ended up gaining back up to 170+ a couple times throughout my 20's but since I had the weight loss success with starvation, I always went back to it. A couple of years ago, I lost 50+ lbs. by not eating a single thing for 94 days (water only). I had no clue that it could have killed me not to mention I looked HORRABLE. My muscles, what was left of them, were like angel hair pasta - all stringy and mushy with NO strength whatsoever. I don't want to risk my life to be thin anymore. In fact, being thin is not my goal this time. All I really want is to be healthy. That's it!!! If I get a rockin' six pack and arms that allow me to wear a tank top, well that's just BONUS!!!!!

3/6/10 - I just weighed myself and I'm down another 7 lbs. Yeah!! I'll tell ya what though, my fibroid tumors are putting a hurtin' on me. I won't let em' stop me, not now, not ever.

2/17/10 - Ok, I just weighed myself and I've lost 10 freakin' pounds!!! I'm only 2 days into P90X workouts and 5 days into it's nutrition guidelines - so I know it's water weight but WOW. I had no clue I was consuming so much sodium. If you're trying to cut some weight, watch the sodium in EVERYTHING!!!
2/15/10 - OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWIIIIEEEEEEE Just finished my first workout!!!! YEAH!!!! Hurts so good! I didn't get as low as I wanted to doing my push ups, but I did surprisingly well with the pull ups. Oh, and Ab Ripper X is a MONSTER!!!!
