Pinckney, MI HI everybody. My name is Sara. I am a die hard country girl. That's because it would be tough for me to take my horse anywhere else. And where he goes I go. I am a certified pharmacy technician. My horse is my biggest motivation to get/keep myself in shape. Being in the barn and being able to ride is my biggest joy and there was about 9 years where I had let my life and weight spiral out of HI everybody. My name is Sara. I am a die hard country girl. Being in the barn and being able to ride is my biggest joy and there was about 9 years where I had let my life and weight spiral out of control to the point where having my horse was becoming difficult. But not now. Truth is I started my journey to fitness about seven years ago. With the help of a very good friend who had enough confidence in (me) for both of us I got up off my rear and started moving. It took about a year and a half, but I was successful in losing 127 lbs. At that time I was using a different exercise program. I hadn't found Turbo Jam yet. But I picked it up as soon as I watched that first infomercial. But in the mean time that friend had moved away and last year without someone there to hold me accountable I slipped and allowed a bad influence into my life. It is hard to stay on track when the people closest to you are not supportive. Well, it took a little while but (he) is no longer around. And I'm left with the results of my shaken confidence. (weight gain) The difference this time is that I have Beachbody in my corner this time. I have reached out for workout buddies and now have the support that I need. My confidence, strength, endurance, energy, and overall fitness grow daily! I am having a hard time waiting for Chalean Extreme. My plan is to start the next chapter in my transformation story with C.E. So stay tuned. If anyone needs a coach, buddy, friend or just someone to listen to them thru their journey e-mail me, because I would love to be able to help someone else, as I have had people help me. 6/3/2010 Update.....Let's see. Can we say this is a constant journey of ups and downs. Where am I? Well, I know that I am doing much better than I was even 2 months ago. I had injured my knee last fall and was struggling with that and sore feet. I picked up my new orthotics in April. Back into the groove of Turbo Jam and Chalean Extreme!!! I am down 15lbs. Feeling better about myself. Getting stronger everyday. Stay tuned. :-)

I'm about to start a new chapter in my transformation story. I have Chalean Extreme, and have done the workouts to figure out where to start with the weights. So, tomorrow is Day 1 of my 90 day challenge. Check back with me, I'll let you know how I'm doing! Jan 26th. update. I left out an important detail in my bio. Over 10 yrs. ago I had surgery on both knees. I had to have meniscus removed from both of them. And have torn the ACL in both also. I am telling you this because I have found that I have had to modify some of the exercises to reduce the strain on my knees. For instance, I don't do the traveling lunges. I still do lunges, just stay in one place. I don't do the high impact moves. It is definitely working. I'm feeling stronger all the time. It may be a little slower than some but I'm getting it done and having FUN too. Next week is the end of the 30 days, so we'll see just how well it is working. :) June 3, 2010 ....I am at the end of the sixth week of another round of Chalean Extreme and I'm lovin' it. I am down 15lbs of the 30 that I have gained in the last 7 months. Wow, it's hard to believe how bad an injury can set you back. But I will post updates as I go along.
