I used to be tone and at a weight I was happy with. However in the last 4 years I have gained unwanted weight. Part of the problem was that I went from working full-time in an active emergency room to doing stroke research (mainly a desk job). On top of the activity level change there was a nutritional change as well. When I worked in the ER I barely had time to take a break for a meal. This new position was not only sedentary, but pharmaceutical reps would come in EVERYDAY with yummy comfort foods for us to fill up on while they infom us about the newest in the drug world! I went from not eating enough to overeating. WOW....I could not believe how fast (though not suprised) my body changed. Some additional factors that fuel my fatty fire are the stress of full-time nursing school while woking full-time, being a caretaker for a large house, and having a weakness for all Carbs!! TIME FOR CHANGE! I am starting my P90X program October 5, 2009 and am getting highly motivated through all my preparation.
