I am a 44 year old stay at home mom.
I have muscular dystrophy which prevents me from doing strenuous upper body workouts. Beachbody routines are flexible enough to give me a good workout without damaging my muscles. Currently I swithched my focus to P-90 3/4 with some YBB.
I had been doing YBB and PHH abs and buns.

In 2006 I started Power 90. Together with that program and cutting out all high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners I dropped 30 pounds. I had started a medication in 2000 which made me gain 50 pounds in 18 months, and I had tried for 5 years to lose it by trying different diets and exercise programs. P-90 was the only thing that ever worked, and everyone I knew was asking how I did it. I started out not able to do even one jumping-jack, nor one push-up. But now I can do 100 jumping-jacks, and am still improving on those push-ups.

I was bored doing the P-90 so switched to YBB and after a year was frustrated that I had lost some muscle tone. I did not realize I should move up to the goddess plan.

My weight stayed steady until Aug 2007 with another med change, feeling tired, and then giving up. By Christmas I gained back 10 pounds. So Jan 2, 2008 I started YBB with PHH abs and buns. About 6 weeks out I lost the 5 'holiday' pounds. Wanting to see more results, I started the MDB suggested diet plan and recently went back to P-90 sweat three times a week with YBB and PHH in-between. Thirteen weeks into my new routine and I have tightened my belt 2 notches, and went down 1 pant size.

Now into my fifth month (June 2008) I am down to 138 pounds!! I went to the thrift store to buy new jeans in May because my 'skinny' jeans no longer fit. I started out in a 16 women's, and now I find size 12 too big, size 10 a little tight. Thank goodness for belts!

I have better balance than I probably have ever had. I climb stairs without the assistance of my arms. A lot of my pains have disappeared. People say I look great.
