Hello everyone my name is William and I am 56 years old. I have been married to my wife Barbara for 17 years and I am a Elementary Special Education Teacher.

For most of my life I have been in very good shape. In High School I lettered in three sports, football, wrestling, and golf. After High School I spent three years in the United States Marine Corps and off course Marines are always in great condition. Between 1980 and 1990 I lived in Denver Colorado and worked for Coors Brewing Company. Not long after I began working for Coors the company purchased a local supper market in the town of Golden, Colorado and turned it into a Wellness Center. Since I enjoyed skiing I worked out at the Wellness Centers ski arobic classes six days a week. Needless to say I was getting into great shape. I was beginning to get a little bored with the arobics and was looking for something else. This was about the time Triathlons began to make the scene and I was hooked. I spent the next five years competing in Triathlons and was in the best shape of my life. My weight at this time in my life was 165 pounds at 5'10.

In 1991 I moved to Memphis, TN to work at the new Coors Brewery. There I met my wife Barbara and got married and I also discovered BBQ Ribs, Fried Catfish, and Southern Fried Chicken along with dessert of course. Needless to say I stopped working out and gained a lot of weight (120 lbs). My current starting weight at this time is 285 lbs. I am on Lipitor and Cozaar along with back and knee problems.

I have already lost five pounds since starting the program and my goal is to get down to 180 lbs. and be totally off of Lipitor and Cozaar by this time next year.
