I have been married for 19 years. We have three children a girl age 13 and 2 boys ages 11 and 10. I stay at home, if you can call it that between helping out at school and practices.

I was always the tall, skinny girl. I was active in high school playing volleyball and only slightly more active in college. My weight went over 200 lbs. after having three children. I remember trying More ...
I was always the tall, skinny girl. I was active in high school playing volleyball and only slightly more active in college. My weight went over 200 lbs. after having three children. I remember trying on a size 18/20 and thinking "No way". I felt sorry for myself. I first ordered Power 90 about 5 years ago. I completed it and liked the challenge but didn't really see any change because I didn't alter my diet too much. I then ordered Slim in 6, again completed, liked it but not much weight loss. I had always wanted to try P90X but was to afraid not of the workouts but of the Nutrition Plan. I didn't want to feel restricted and just knew there would be meals that I didn't like. So I ordered Power 90 Master Series which for someone who played sports in high school, I found to be excellent. I still didn't really follow any particular eating plan except to cut things out that I liked -made me cranky and unhappy. I tried Turbo-Jam- it is fun and I loved it. Over the years I have gone from a size 18 to a size 12, but I feel like I could do more. I decided to order P90X. As of 1/22/08, I am into my second week and I love it. I have found that the Nutrition Plan is easier to stick than I thought and I have found a way to eat with my family and not make to separate meals. I am taking it one day at a time. It gets easier everyday and so far I have lost 4lbs in 8 days. The only thing I miss is my morning Mt Dew. I now ony have Mt Dew once a week and even that is not as enjoyable as it was.

6/14/09 I have been using P90x (for a year now) and incorporating other activities. I also started running and entering 5k races. I have been contemplating entering 10k or half marathon. I have dropped more weight and inches although I am still not where I want to be, the end is closer than it was. I only drink Mt Dew on Sundays and then if I remember. Everyday I have to consciously Eat Clean and decide is this worth eating and not feeling good about myself and does it make my body feel good. If I feel like I really want to eat something that is "not clean" I go ahead eat and enjoy and not stress about it later. Every day gets easier than the day before. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." That is where I am now, challenging myself to do what I can do instead what I can't do.

7/9/09 I am now a Beachbody Coach. I believe in the products that Beachbody has to offer. There is something for every level and interest.I am passionate about helping people get in the best shape of their life.
