A challenge was issued for the women where I work. A sprint distance triathlon event at the end of April 2007. What better way to get motivated and push yourself into a regular work-out routine! I accepted the challenge and started exercising in January. I was feeling goooood! Unfortunately, seasonal allergies caught up with me and I got sick in February. It took me several weeks to recover. I didn't do the triathlon after all since my Allergist advised against exercising outdoors. Sometimes, things don't always go as planned. Be willing to adjust and make necessary changes, and always keep sight of your goals.

Ok, triathlons aren't in my future! However, it's a new year and new goals should be made in order to keep moving forward. I started walking/running in hopes of doing a half marathon in late August, but I'm suffering from plantar fasciitis - so perhaps running isn't right for me anymore.

I continue to workout - with P90, walking/running on the treadmill or biking on an exercise bike. The exercise DVDs are great for when it's difficult to exercise outdoors. I'm in the Las Vegas area and it's too hot outside most of the time.
