My name is Dray Pavey. I was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Plano, a suburb of Dallas. I went to college at the University of Texas at Austin and was married shortly after graduation in 1999. My wife and I have two incredible boys, ages four and five, that keep us very busy. We love to spend time with friends and family and are very involved with our church.

I've always been slightly overweight, especially when I was really young and since collge. After I got married I put on a lot of weight. I got to my heaviest of 225 in the first year of marriage. Throughout high-school and most of my college years I was fairly fit. I weighed around 175 to 185. I ran regularly and worked out several times a week. Over the past ten years my health has dramatically declined. I was eating poorly, drinking too much, smoking, and rarely did any physical activity. Even my job had me sitting at a desk all day long.

I decided that I had had enough. I set my goal in April of 2010 to get into the best shape of my life. Better than I've ever been. I wanted to be able to keep up with my two boys as they got older. I want to be able to play and be active with my wife and my children.

I had done Power 90 in 2003 but failed to complete it. I also gave P90X the college try about three years ago. In late April I've stopped smoking, curbed the drinking, started eating super clean, and I started doing P90X again and this time it's for good. So far I already feel so much better. My energy is through the roof, I've lost some weight, and I feel great!

I wanted to be a coach so that I could pass this vision on to others, but also because it's a great motivator. I have to get into shape myself before I can help others to do the same! I know it won't be long until I get to update this transformation story with some awesome results!
