It all started with a dianosis of drug-induced Lupus in 2005 that, to most, was deemed a death wish but I saw it as a wake-up call.

I dug knee deep into research and found my whole lifestyle was backfiring on any progress I needed to make. From a 50 hour work-week, no sense of portion control, an inactive lifestyle and low self-esteem, I was deteriorating by the day at age 26 relying on prescriptions to get from one hour to the next.

Finally, with an adamant decision to live drug-free and relieve my body of toxins, I began working out. But the gym was self-defeating; I wasnt comfortable in my own skin and wished for a different opportunity to train in the comfort of my own home without the cost of a personal trainer.

In comes an infomercial on late night TV in 2008 with this tall fit dark haired man screaming "X me baby", I wanted to change the channel but I couldnt help it; the testimonies and ads were attractive. So attractive that Googled it to ensure it wasn't a scam and when I found no such entry, I pulled out my credit card and ordered it.

Once it arrived at my doorstep, I never looked back.

Today, I am 20 pounds lighter and unconceivably stronger than I ever was before. Heck I am in the best shape of my life and I'm only 30 years old. The first time I ever was able to do a "real" push-up was one year ago this month.

Never during my volleyball days of high school or college did I possess the energy and capacity to live a better life with a Better Fit Body, prescription free and eating clean.

Now I am certified fitness trainer, and freelance lifestyle writer, living and leading a healthy life mind, body and soul.
