Hello Beachbody,

My name is Connitha and I am 24 years old. I work full time as a Intensive
In-Home Family Counselor and a full time graduate student. Needless to say
I have a very hetic schedule. I am a first time user of P90X. I am so very
excited and enthused to begin the transformation of a better healthier and
more fit life. I am also new to doing fitness programs through DVD. This will
be a completely new experience for me.

As a former collegiate athlete who always played organized basketball, I am
no stranger to the blood, sweat, and tears it takes to reach one's maximum
performance level.

I was never a small person even when I was a child but I automatically have
the body of an athlete whether I work out or not. Over the course of a year I
have went from a consistent weight of 196 pounds to a fluctuating 222-230
pounds. For me this is very disturbing because this is the heaviest I have ever
been in my entire life and I currently do not care for the way I look or really
feel about myself.

Now that I am in the real world it is not as easy to stay on track with fitness
especially when a schedule is not already pre-made for you like it is in
college. For me, I love to play basketball, go to the gym and lift weights,
sweat, and become exhausted from working hard. As I have consistently been
going to the gym, lifting, biking and running 1/2 a mile to a mile before
lifting, I have yet to see any significant results. After a while my routine
became boring to me and I just became disgusted and disinterested. So I
stopped going.

I chose to become engaged in P90X due to all of the wonderful testimonies of
the people who seemed to transform their bodies by using P90X. I love to
work hard and I believe that I am mentally and physically ready to stand up to
the challenge.
