I like to be active in my spare time....walking/running my dogs, gardening, hiking, biking....but unfortunately, it just hasn't been enough to keep me fit like I want to be. Probably my main motivation for starting the P90x program is the upcoming 40 year mark. I really don't have any negative feeling about aging and I've always been fairly petite and never really had to worry about weight but it seems like since about age 32 the weight has been creeping up each year and getting harder and harder to keep off. I've always wanted a more athletic looking body and now it's just finally time!!! The last few years I've put on about 15 pounds and can't fit into a lot of clothes that I still would love to wear. It's been over a year now since I discovered P90x and I've lost 9 pounds and over 8 inches! It's been slow but steady. I made some lifestyle changes and started thinking more about my food choices. I feel like I'm doing it the right way to keep in this shape forever!
