I am 68 years old and want to beat the odds of becoming an old lady, sick with arthritis and immobility. I feel I am in the final quarter of my life and I want to enjoy every day I have left; and to do that I truly believe that I must take care of my body, mind and spirit. I love sports (golf and tennis) I do exercise at the gym, but seem to never keep a routine for very long to see results. I have purchased so many products for working out, but they just get dust on them and eventually I get rid of them. I have just joined weight watchers again and am determined this time with working out with Debbie Siebers Slim N 6 series, I am going to reach my goal weight! My goal is to loose 15 pounds, add muscle and tone my body8

At the age of 62, I fell down 4 times that year; I broke my right hand and injured both of my shoulders. When I went into physical therapy I found that I could not lift a 5 pound weight. My core strength was low, my balance was really bad and I was getting weaker.
As years passed, my weight creep up to 152 pounds and was wearing a size 14. When my son got married I didn’t realize just how much weight I had put on. But when I saw the wedding pictures of myself, I knew I needed to do something!
Then one night I saw an infomercial with Debbie Siebers. Her DVD’s on exercising at home caught my eye and when I saw the before and after pictures of people in the TBB community, I knew I could do this!
At first I had a really hard time keeping my balance during the workouts and needed a chair to stabilize myself. I could barely lift my head off the floor when I attempted push-ups. I remember her saying “work at your comfort level, and you WILL get stronger if you continue doing these workouts.” So, that is what I did.
Today, I make my daily exercise regime my number 1 priority. I use a combination of exercise programs including Shawn T’s Hip Hop Abs and Debbie Siebers Slim N 6 Series. I change the routines each day to keep it fun and interesting.
I eat every 2-3 hours; take my supplements and make healthier choices when eating out. I feel like I am a different person. I smile a lot now, have noticed that I am more clear headed, can concentrate/focus better and my balance is better.
Recently, while I was taking my cousin to the airport, a police/traffic cop motioned to me to back up as I was blocking traffic and needed me to move to let other cars go by; within a few minutes, we were able to get out of the car, I said my good-bye’s and got back into the car. The traffic cop came over to me, and asked if I minded him asking me a question. I said no, what? He said “M’am, do you mind me asking you how old you are? I said no, I am 66. He gave me a big smile and said, “Wow! Just keep on doing whatever you are doing. You look great.”
