As a mom of 2 awesome little boys, finding time to work out took a backseat on the priority list. I watched my husband become a P90X addict--getting up bright and early before work to do his daily workout. I thought that there has to be something to this whole beachbody thing, because this man hasn't exercised faithfully in years!

I am a mom of 2 little boys, a wife, and a nurse practitioner. I am busy, but need to find time for my own well-being. . . so, I began in April of 2008 doing a combination of P90X, TurboJam, P90 & road running. I'm loved it! Muscles appeared that I wasn't sure existed. I was a college athlete doing strenuous workouts everyday including logging 5-7 miles and weight training. Throughout all of that I never had a six-pack or even close. For the first time in my life, I saw some serious ab definition thanks to beachbody!
Not only that, but my back is significantly better. I've been continuing workouts, modifying when necessary, thanks to cues from Chalene and Tony!
I can do the workouts and not be sore the next day. Before beginning all of this a workout would sometimes have me laid up for days due to back pain.
Not anymore! Now I have the strength and more energy to chase my two little boys around and pick them up everytime I hear, "Hold me Mama." What a relief!
The best thing about Beachbody and exercising regularly is that I am teaching my children that exercising and healthy living are a way of life! I hope they follow my footsteps!
Some of my proudest moments are when my kids say things, such as, "Mama, I'm not gonna eat that because it's not healthy and it's not good for your body." Or, "We should do this, because it is exercise and it will make us healthy!" It makes my heart :)
