Hi, my name is Brian Hess, over the last several years I have hovered around 225 pounds but remained active playing softball and my job requires quite a bit of walking and lifting. After the holiday’s I had hit an all time high for me reaching a weight of 237 pounds. I had difficulty putting on my shoes and realized I was holding in my breath to tie my laces. My clothes were getting very snug and overall I was tired all the time and absolutely miserable. Since diabetes runs in my family I knew something needed to be done. My wife was currently on a pursuit to be “Fit at Forty” so together we agreed to support each other and immediately changed our eating habits. While we began to experience some weight loss we knew diet alone wouldn’t achieve our goals. During a late night one weekend I stumbled upon the P90X infomercial and was encouraged by the success stories. I surprised my wife with the P90X series and we began our journey. The DVD’s are challenging and diverse enough to keep me motivated and engaged. This is a work in progress but in less than 90 days, I had lost 38 pounds! I now have people come up to me and tell me how great I look which makes me feel great! Having your successful weight loss complimented by others is also the best motivator. It helps you keep pushing play!
